While the director has already a made a film on the origins of the Roma Gitano of Spain, called Latcho Drom, I didn't know that one of the dancers in 'Madad', the fusion of which is the song we see Tomatito and AL tuni performing in the intro, is Rukmini Chatterjee, who is French of Indian descent and is very much trained in Bharat Natyam.
